What started out as a chilled video shoot suddenly turned into something a tad bit more than that, more in the right direction though. We’ve had our eyes on Jarrod’s 2005 Polo 1.9 TDI Sportline for a few months now, so when he contacted us about doing a video we seized the opportunity. The car has undergone quite a few changes in a rather short space of time as Jarrod acquired the car just over a year ago. The car’s previous wheel setup was a set of 17 inch BBS RS Replicas with the centres done over in a custom bronze finish, back then the wheels specs were 7.5j fronts and 8j rears with a 32 and 35 offset, which looked sweet but his current wheel specs totally drove us nuts. Presently Jarrod is rolling on Schmidt Th-Line Reps 17x8j et28 all-around wrapped in Falken ZIEX 195/40/17 tyres with 6mil spacers upfront for a beefier look.
Assisting gravity is a set of JOM Blue-line Coil-overs with front helper springs removed.
What we really admire is the fact that Jarrod kept it OEM+ and by looking at the car you wont see the subtle differences unless you actually own a 1.9 Tdi
